The combination of no transport and good weather up high sent us up off the Midi in search of some good climbing. Conditions have not improved much at all but we headed up for Scotch on the Rocks which I have wanted to do for a while. All the routes in that are are bone dry ice wise with a nice coating of snow ontop of it- pretty scottish in other words. However the hooks are good and the pro also good once you have cleared the snow off. All together it was a great route and much higher quality than I had previously thought.
